Store Terms & Conditions

Applicable at Chitralekha Shopping Mall — Muzaffarpur, Motihari & Bettiah
⚠ These terms apply to Chitralekha Shopping Mall stores. Terms and conditions may vary between stores and between brands (e.g. Kalyan Jewellers, Candere, The Raymond Shop have their own policies). Please refer to your store receipt for the specific terms applicable to your purchase.

No Cash Refund — All sales are final. We do not offer cash refunds on any purchase.

No Guarantee for Colour, Material & Zari — Slight variations in colour, texture, and zari quality may occur due to dye lots, screen display differences, and natural fabric characteristics.

No Exchange After Three Days — Exchange requests are accepted within 3 days of purchase only, and only with the original bill, tags, and packing intact.

Non-Exchangeable Items — Accessories, undergarments, and altered items cannot be exchanged under any circumstances.

Claims Window — No claim will be accepted after 7 days from the date of purchase or without the original bill and tags.
⚖️
Jurisdiction — All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bettiah only (for Bettiah store) or the jurisdiction noted on your receipt for other stores.

How exchanges work at Chitralekha Shopping Mall

Exchange Timings

Exchange Time: 09:30 AM to 11:00 AM only — All exchange requests must be made at the store counter between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Exchanges will not be processed outside this window.

What you need for an exchange

  • Original purchase receipt / bill
  • All original tags intact and attached
  • Original packing / bag
  • Item unused, unwashed, and unaltered
  • Request within 3 days of purchase

Items not eligible for exchange

  • Accessories (belts, scarves, jewellery, bags, etc.)
  • Undergarments
  • Any altered or customised items
  • Items purchased on sale / clearance (may vary)

Alteration & Delivery Timings

For sarees, fall-pico, polish, and alterations

Delivery Time: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM — Sarees sent for fall-pico, polish, or other alteration services will be ready for collection between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM on the designated day. Please retain your receipt for collection.

Alteration timelines may vary during festive seasons or high demand periods. The store team will inform you of any delays at the time of drop-off.
